Call for Abstracts
We will soon be putting out a call for abstracts from speakers interested in presenting at the 2025 Lipoedema Australia Conference.
Speakers can be medical & allied health professionals, therapists, researchers, other clinicians, and patients who have relevant and dynamic topics and presentations for the lipoedema community. Presentations may be targeted at practitioners or patients.
Areas of particular interest include:
New and innovative research
Strategies for conservative treatment
Pain management
Grief & Emotional support
Living with a chronic illness
Co-morbidities
Managing lipoedema at all stages
Body image
Movement workshops/sessions
Other topics relevant to the diagnosis, treatment, and living with lipoedema.
Poster Presentations
We will once again be accepting abstracts for poster presentations on topics relating to lipoedema. These presentations are a great way to share your research, projects, findings, or analyses with the lipoedema community.
Poster presentations are for educational purposes and no commercial interests or advertising is accepted. Accepted posters are to be printed and delivered by the author(s) to be displayed at the conference. We will also have a digital poster available to virtual conference attendees via the conference app.
All poster presenters will be given the opportunity to give an oral presentation overview of their research or case, as well as a time for questions and answers.
